Voters in southeast Louisiana are preparing to head to the polls tomorrow to vote in a special election.
The main race on the ballot is to see who will succeed Cedric Richmond to represent Louisiana's 2nd Congressional District in Washington. Voters will choose between two Democratic state senators running for the seat, Karen Carter Peterson or Troy Carter.
Also on the ballot is a quarter-cent sales tax to fund Blue Light Patrols in the French Quarter.
