LSU is welcoming it's new women's basketball head coach.
Fans at the LSU Assembly Center will greet Kim Mulkey to Tiger Nation Monday afternoon after she was hired away from Baylor over the weekend.
Over 21 seasons as head coach of the Lady Bears, Mulkey won three national titles and was named National Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2019.
Mulkey played her collegiate career at Louisiana Tech where she also served as an assistant coach.
She takes over for Nikki Fargas, who stepped down as LSU women's basketball head coach after ten seasons.
