Class-Action Lawsuit Filed Against LSU Over Failure To Report Sexual Abuse

Seven women who say LSU ignored their claims of sexual abuse are filing a class-action lawsuit against the University.

Details of the lawsuit filed on Monday alleges the school failed to act on the plaintiff's reports of sexual assault, harassment, domestic violence, and stalking.

Since the lawsuit is a class-action, it can extend beyond the seven original filers to any student who attended LSU from 2013 to the present.

LSU Associate Athletic Director Sharon Lewis has also filed a Title IX lawsuit against LSU alleging retaliation against her for reporting violations by former football coach Les Miles.
