New Study Shows Several Louisiana Cities Among America's 100 Most Dangerous

Two Louisiana metros are ranked in the top ten in a new study of the 100 most dangerous cities in America.

According to data released by real estate analytics website Neighborhood Scout, four Louisiana cities were listed among 100 in the U.S. for most violent crimes per 1,000 residents.

Crimes examined in the study include murder, rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault.

Monroe was rated worst in the state as the fifth most dangerous city nationwide, followed by Alexandria at #8, then New Orleans at 34, and Baton Rouge at 71.
