The public will have the opportunity to pay their respects to former Gov. Edwin Edwards.
The Speaker of the House's office announced that Edwards will lie in honor of Memorial Hall at the state Capitol on Saturday for a public viewing from ten in the morning until seven in the evening.
On Sunday, his remains will be transported by carriage to the Old State Capitol, where a private service will be held for family and close friends.
