A mid-morning New Orleans power outage is being blamed on an animal.
Entergy New Orleans says the unidentified animal touched equipment inside the Derbigny substation today knocking out power for thousands of customers, mainly in the CBD and Treme.
Entergy New Orleans is asking people to be patient while they try to restore power.
