As vaccinations increase in the state, the FBI is issuing a warning about possible fines for making or possessing fake vaccination cards.
The Department of Justice said Monday that misrepresenting the official seal of a federal agency like the CDC is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or two years in jail.
Last month, the FBI arrested a naturopathic doctor in California for issuing false vaccination cards.
State health officials reported $51,000 Louisianans had received a vaccine shot for the first time since last Thursday.
