A state official says Ida may have destroyed half of this year's shrimp and oyster crop.

The hurricane damaged boats, wrecked docks, and knocked out the power, which still hasn't been restored in some areas.

As a result, Patrick Banks with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries say the state's billion-dollar seafood industry may lose 50% of its production this year.
