Drew Brees is saying no-thanks to a request from the Saints that he come back and lead the team in tonight's game.
After both quarterbacks were placed on the COVID-19 list, Brees was the first person head coach Sean Payton called for help.
Brees and his family are in Hawaii, and he reportedly didn't want to return to the team as a backup, or on such short notice with no time to train.
Rookie Ian Book will call the signals for the first time tonight against the Miami Dolphins.
