The Walmart location in Marrero is temporarily shutting down for deep cleaning amid the omicron surge.
The store on LaPalco Boulevard closed its doors at 2 p.m. Monday. It's scheduled to reopen Wednesday morning at 6.
The locations in Chalmette, Kenner, Tchoupitoulas, and Port Allen all closed last week for deep cleaning, and have since reopened.
