The Krewe of Little Rascals is canceling this year's parade because of pandemic concerns.
Captain Maureen Spittler says the health and welfare of the children are the krewe's top responsibility
The krewe has reportedly lost more than half of its members due to the omicron surge.
Spittler says they all plan to be back next year.
