The Northshore Humane Society in Covington is celebrating Betty White's 100th birthday week with a free adoption event.
Fees for the first 100 pet adoptions will be waived until this coming Saturday.
All pets are up-to-date on vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered and microchipped.
The Betty White Challenge is being run by animal shelters nationwide in honor of the late actress, who was an animal advocate.
She would have turned 100 on Monday.
