A Louisiana State Police trooper is on administrative leave after his arrest for domestic violence.
State police and officers from the Gonzales Police Department responded about 1 a.m. Saturday to the domestic disturbance on Veterans Boulevard and reportedly found off-duty Officer Garrett Yetma, 28, of Baton Rouge involved in a fight with a woman.
The Gonzales police arrested Yetman on charges of simple assault and domestic abuse-battery by strangulation.
