A New Orleans man accused of killing and dismembering a woman and hiding her remains in a freezer will stay behind bars until his trial.
An Orleans Parish magistrate made the ruling early Wednesday.
Benjamin Beale is accused of murdering 36-year-old Julia Dardar and running a meth lab in his home on Pauline Street.
New Orleans Police were executing a search warrant at Beale's home last month as part of their investigation of Dardar's disappearance when they found her frozen torso and Beale's meth operation.
