The Louisiana Army National Guard is announcing its first black female helicopter pilot.
Warrant Officer Tatiana Julien of New Orleans enlisted in 2014, graduated from Warrant Officer Candidate School in 2019 and finished flight school in 2021.
She now pilots a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in the 1-244th Assault Helicopter Battalion, stationed in Hammond.
