A Ponchatoula man suspected of a double murder last month in Metairie is in custody.
Jefferson Parish deputies arrested 27-year-old Cody Labranche on Friday on two counts of first-degree murder.
Labranche is accused of the fatal shootings of 36-year-old Williams Mitchell and 38-year-old Jonathan Pizzuto at a home on Rosa Avenue.
Police haven't said how Labranche knew the two victims or what led investigators to suspect him.
