Four members of the Kenner City Council say they plan to call for the immediate resignation of Mayor Ben Zahn at Friday morning's meeting.
The Zahn administration has reportedly spent $28 million since Hurricane Ida, and council members have questions about the expenses.
Certain city employees received disaster pay for months after Ida, including former chief administrative officer Chad Pitfield.
A federal probe recently investigated Pitfield's employment by the city.
The Zahn administration fired Pitman on Wednesday.
