LSU infielder Cade Doughty is the Southeastern Conference Player of the Week after helping the Tigers sweep Maine on opening weekend.
Doughty swatted two doubles and two homers, and had a team-leading 12 RBI.
The Tigers scored a record-breaking 51 runs over the weekend, topping the 45 runs the Tigers scored against Western Kentucky all the way back in 1996.
