A man accused of stealing a loaded Amazon delivery truck was reportedly released earlier this year after the Orleans Parish District Attorney's office failed to bring carjacking charges.
Police arrested 31-year-old Rochard Sabattier on Saturday after he reportedly heisted the truck on North Tonti near Music Street.
Sabattier is charged with armed robbery, theft of a motor vehicle, and aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
He was released from jail in January after the D.A.'s office failed to bring charges for another carjacking within 60 days.
