The AAA Weekend Gas Watch says, as of Friday, the statewide average gas price in Louisiana is $4.09 a gallon for regular unleaded.
That's up 14 cents from last weekend and is $1.39 year-over-year.
In Baton Rouge, the average price at the pump is $4.07, up 15 cents from the previous week.
The New Orleans area is seeing prices around $4.08, an increase of 12 cents from last Friday.
The national average stood at $4.43.
