Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry wants to stop funding of New Orleans due to its leadership's stance on abortion.
Landry says New Orleans officials are flouting state law, which goes against the City Charter.
He wants the Bond Commission to not give the city any cash until leadership vows to obey the abortion law. Mayor LaToya Cantrell says Landry's comments aren't surprising while vowing to keep standing for women's rights.
