Abortion continues to be legal in Louisiana for now.
Judge Donald Johnson of the 19th Judicial Court on Tuesday again extended a temporary restraining order that blocks the state ban on abortions.
Johnson extended the TRO for ten days, through July 29.
Until a final ruling is made concerning the state's trigger law that banned abortion when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the TRO will stay in place, allowing the state's three abortion clinics to remain in operation.
