Michael Thomas returned to the football field on Wednesday
The All-Pro wide receiver was able to practice with the Saints for the first time since 2020
The 2019 NFL Offensive Player of the Year said it was a "blessing" to be back out on the field with his teammates, and that he is "very confident" he will be a top player once again.
Saints head coach Dennis Allen said the team will be careful with Thomas as he continues to recover from multiple ankle surgeries, but the first practice was a "step in the right direction."
