LSU is not on the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Tigers received 143 votes from coaches, over 110 votes shorts of 25th-ranked Houston.
It's the first time LSU hasn't been ranked since 2000.
Alabama was ranked first in the preseason poll.
