Danielle has become the first hurricane of the Atlantic season.
The storm has maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour. However, it's moving toward the west near just one mile per hour.
Danielle is forecast to meander over the open Atlantic during the next couple of days.
It's then projected to slowly turn toward the northeast early next week.
It poses no threat to land.
