A fatal house fire in Gretna has claimed the life of three children
Flames erupted early Friday morning in their suburban home.
A 15-year-old died on the scene, while an eight-year-old and two-year-old died in the hospital.
The three children were home alone while the parents were working.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
