State education officials are reporting the highest school performance scores since 2019.
The Department of Education says standardized test scores, dropout rates, and other indicators of school performance in Louisiana have returned to pre-pandemic levels.
The department added that thirty school systems equaled or improved their numbers from 2019.
State Superintendent Cade Brumley said he is thankful performance scores have rebounded, but the department has a long way to go for Louisiana children.
