The Louisiana Senate is calling for the extension of the state's film tax credit program.
The program currently offers a $150 million tax credit.
With the Senate's overwhelming approval, the credit would be available through 2031, for one of its longest extensions ever.
The state House has already approved the proposal.
The tax credit provides an important boost to the state's film industry, which is struggling with the effects of the Hollywood writers' strike.
