McNeese State men's basketball coach Will Wade is getting a ten-game suspension for recruiting violations while he was at LSU.
The Independent Resolution Panel made the announcement on Thursday, stating that Wade made impermissible payments to recruits and failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance in the program.
The panel also announced a three-year probation for the LSU athletic department, and one scholarship will be taken away from the men's basketball team the next two years.
The LSU football team, who issued self-imposed penalties during the NCAA investigation, was credited with time served.
