A vintage restaurant sign will stay unchanged where it is for now.
Tujague's Restaurant opened on Decatur Street in 1856 and is the second-oldest restaurant in New Orleans.
The restaurant has moved a few blocks down the street, but the sign is still in its original location.
It's one of nearly three-dozen signs in the city that are protected by city rules from being altered by new property owners.
The new owner entered a proposal to alter the sign to say Voodoo Doughnut, but the City Planning Commission nixed the idea.
