A former Orleans Parish prosecutor and assistant state attorney general is accused of pulling a gun on his girlfriend last weekend.
New Orleans police arrested 38-year-old Joseph Zanetti on Sunday.
Officers responded around 2:35 a.m. to a 911 call from the couple's home on Nelson Street in the Fontainebleau neighborhood.
Zanetti reportedly aimed a gun at his 34-year-old girlfriend's head during an argument.
He's charged with domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse aggravated assault. A hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
