One of the four finalists in the running for New Orleans Police superintendent has taken a job as chief of police in a San Antonio suburb.

On Wednesday, Thedrick Andres was announced as the new police chief in Cibolo, Texas.

The former police chief of Henderson, Nevada, left that position in February after votes of no confidence from two police unions.

There are three finalists remaining for the NOPD position, including the current interim superintendent Michelle Woodfork.
