The Green Wave are closing in on hiring their new athletic director.
ESPN reports that Tulane is targeting Northern Iowa's David Harris to be the school's next AD and that a deal between the two sides is expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Harris has served as UNI's athletic director since 2016 and would become the second straight AD that Tulane has plucked from the Panthers.
Harris will be first tasked with retaining head football coach Willie Fritz, who has led the Green Wave to a 22-3 record over the last two seasons.
