Dozens of dogs and cats from South Louisiana shelters are hoping to find homes in Wisconsin.
Volunteers from shelters in both states put 60 animals on board a flight on Monday morning at the Lakefront Airport.
Greater Good Charities has organized these flights to relieve overcrowded shelters and give animals a chance to be adopted in another part of the country.
Monday's flight was the 200th in the program's history, taking a total of 12,000 animals to opportunities elsewhere.
