The man who was shot near the Crescent City Connection yesterday has died.
The incident trapped drivers in traffic for hours.
Police say it happened on the Tchoupitoulas on-ramp heading to the Westbank.
The 23-year old victim was in a car on the interstate when a suspect in a car began firing shots.
It's unclear why but New Orleans Police do not believe the incident was road rage.
