The Pelicans closed out the regular season with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers 124-108 at the Smoothie King Center Sunday.
CJ McCollum finished with a team-high 25 points. Herbert Jones chipped in 18 points in the losing effort.
The Pels will host the Lakers in the Play-In Tournament tomorrow. Coverage begins at 6 p.m. with Pelicans Warmup followed by tip-off at 6:30 p.m. on News Talk 99.5 WRNO in the New Orleans area.
The winner of the matchup will earn the 7th seed in the West and face the Nuggets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The loser faces the winner of the 9th-place Kings and 10th-place Warriors matchup to determine the 8th seed in the West, who will face the Thunder.
