Louisiana Government Agencies Train For Busy Hurricane Season

Government agencies in Louisiana are prepping for what looks like a busy 2024 hurricane season.

The Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness hosted a training session on Wednesday about how to prepare for a hurricane.

A hurricane simulation helped officials learn how to deal with an actual storm.

The annual training was adjusted for a hurricane season forecasters expect to be the most active in ten years.

Hurricane season officially starts on June 1st.
