Pelicans Assistant Leaving For Pistons

The Pelicans are losing a longtime assistant coach.

Longtime New Orleans assistant Fred Vinson has accepted a position with the Detroit Pistons.

The 53-year-old spent 14 years with New Orleans and will now reunite with former Pelicans general manager Trajan Langdon in the Motor City.
