The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season has birthed another named storm.
Tropical Storm Beryl is expected to become a hurricane while moving westward towards the Windward Islands.
Beryl is expected to then move into the Caribbean.
There is no immediate threat to Louisiana or the Gulf Coast from Beryl.
