Funeral plans are announced for former New Orleans city council member Jackie Clarkson, who died last week at age 88.
Clarkson was a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002, and served on the city council off and on between 1990 and 2013.
Visitation will be held at the National WWII Museum's Freedom Pavilion from 4 to 7 p.m. next Monday.
Clarkson's funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Louis Cathedral.
