A former LSU football star is starting a new career in politics.
Marcus Randall played quarterback back in the early 2000s, throwing the Hail Mary that beat Kentucky in the "Bluegrass Miracle."
The 42-year old has qualified to run for the District 5 seat on the East Baton Rouge Parish Metropolitan Council.
He's registered as a Democrat.
