Louisiana Democratic Party Endorses Kamala Harris After Biden Withdraws

The Louisiana Democratic Party is backing Vice President Kamala Harris following President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 election.

The party issued a statement on Sunday afternoon thanking Biden for what they perceive as his accomplishments in office.

The statement also praised Biden's "bold" endorsement of Kamala Harris to be the party's new standard-bearer, and threw the party's support behind Harris in the November election.

The Democratic National Convention takes place in Chicago next month.
