Three former St. Charles Parish deputies are out on bond after their arrests for several offenses.

Former Chief Deputy Rodney Madere Jr., former Captain Derek Pertuis, and former Sergeant Zain Stillinger are all charged with abuse of office, theft of over $25,000, and 26 counts of public payroll fraud. Madere is also charged with obstruction of justice.

Madere and Stillinger resigned in February during the investigation, and Pertuis was fired the following month.
