A woman is home from the hospital after she and another pedestrian were hit on Saturday evening by a car driven by NOPD Supt. Anne Kirkpatrick.
Police responded around 7 p.m. to the reported accident on Decatur Street at Iberville. Kirkpatrick was reportedly driving a vehicle that ran into two pedestrians.
A woman was hospitalized in stable condition and released on Sunday. The second pedestrian wasn't hurt.
Kirkpatrick passed a breathalyzer test. Results from a urinalysis are expected within the next few days.
