The Saints are activating their starting tight end prior to the start of the regular season.
New Orleans tight end Juwan Johnson has been taken off the physically unable to perform list after recovering from offseason foot surgery.
The 27-year-old had 37 receptions for 368 yards and four touchdowns through 13 games played last season. He has amassed 1,074 yards and 15 TDs throughout his four-year NFL career.
The Saints will close out the preseason when they host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon at the Superdome.
