With Francine expected to make landfall in Louisiana possibly as a Category 2 hurricane, schools and universities are making schedule changes.
In Jefferson Parish, schools in Grand Isle, Kerner, and Fisher are closed today through Thursday.
In Lafourche Parish, schools are closed Wednesday and Thursday, including Nicholls State University.
In Orleans, St. Charles, St. James, and St. John Parishes, schools are closed Wednesday and Thursday.
Tangipahoa Parish officials will announce their decision about public schools at noon today.
