Sen. John Kennedy says people who suffered damage from Hurricane Francine will get the money they need from FEMA.

The Louisiana Republican is the chair of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, and says he's already talking with his colleagues about providing funds for infrastructure repair, public and personal assistance, and mitigation grants.

FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell says anybody with home damage should call their insurance company, take pictures, and gather important documentation.
