Hurricane Helene Moves Closer To Florida

Forecasters say Hurricane Helene is expected to make landfall in Florida late Thursday.

The storm is expected to bring life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds and floods to much of the Sunshine State and the southeastern U.S.

Helene could make landfall in Florida's Big Bend region as a Category 3 hurricane as it intensifies over the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
