Cantrell Denies Bribery Implications In Federal Indictment

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is denying claims that she took bribes from a company that did building inspections.

The head of the inspection company, Randy Farrell, allegedly wanted a city worker fired for raising concerns about his work.

Friday's indictment of Randy Farrell accuses him of fraudulent activities involving Mayor LaToya Cantrell and other high-ranking city officials.

The mayor brushed this off as merely "accusations."
