Louisiana State Fire Marshal Teams In Florida To Assist Hurricane Victims

Teams from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal's office are in Florida to help residents of the Tampa Bay area affected by Hurricane Milton.

Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces are evacuating people from their flooded homes. Power outages are widespread, but the hurricane's damage isn't as severe as it was expected to be.

Louisiana responders are expected to remain in Florida until Wednesday. A spokesman say Florida always helps Louisiana hurricane victims in the same way.
